Tim's east coast cousin, Brian, happened to pop into Tokyo for a couple of nights so of course we had to get together! I had never met him before, so it was quite a pleasure to finally get the chance.
We joined Brian and a couple of his friends at an izakaya a few train stops away.
The next night, the three of us went to our favorite soba restaurant, Kaoriya Soba, Ebisu. Yum. Tim and Brian spent many summers together at their aunt's house so it was nice for them to catch up and reminisce.
It was so great to visit with Brian and we're hoping it's not too long before our paths cross again...
We're loving our reunions here in Japan. The world really is a small place!
